About the Driver:

Mike McIntire Sr. is an owner of a successful CNC machine shop. He was part owner of D.M. Machine Company for 30 years until the recent passing of his father, which then they closed the shop. This company was the start of many racing opportunities because of housing its own engine shop.

Mike has even designed and machined his own engine blocks, connecting rods, pistons and more. After the closing of D.M. Machine he decided to open his own shop McAttack Machine based in Willoughby. The new shop has all the capabilities of the old one plus more. The new business allows him to concentrate on his first love drag racing more.

Mike is the father of four kids, Mike Jr. (who serves as crew chief), Heather (packs parachutes, photographer), Kelsey and Angelle (who both make sure no one goes hungry at the track). He is the husband to Sharon who has been to every race and is not afraid to jump in and wrench on the car. Along with driving the car, running a business, and being a father, Mike also ran the MAFCC from 1995-1999, booking shows and getting circuit sponsors. In 1999 Mike quit racing to concentrate on the business but always had the burning desire to go back.
